AMI PARIS — A new designer brand from France, founded in 2011. Two years later, he became the first menswear designer to win the French Andam Fashion Award, and was a highly sought-after new designer at the time.

Alexander Mattiussi graduated from the Duperré fashion design school in Paris and worked at Dior Homme, Givenchy, and Marc Jacobs after graduation. At the age of 30, he decided to launch his own brand. He named it after his initials; the "I" after "AM" stands for "friend" in French, signifying that his friends can wear stylish yet affordable clothing. The style is minimalist and unisex, very easy to match for everyday wear, and like APC, it offers mid-range yet high-end designs.
